So you’ve decided to actually attend your neighbor’s Halloween party this weekend. It’s a costume party and you can’t be the only person there without one! It’s time to get in the spirit with these last-minute Halloween costume ideas!
The art of the last-minute costume is all about working with what you have. Get deep into your closet, venture into that dusty old attic and raid your parent or partner’s closet as well! If you can’t find what you need at home, take a trip down to your local thrift store. Thrifting is an adventure on its own and may be the ticket to finding the perfect costume. Things like old jerseys to walk in like you own the field, 90’s era band shirts for your inner Rockstar persona, and grandma’s fur jacket wrapped around some simple deer makeup are what you’re looking for.
Make up is key here if you want to take things to the next level. Any pop-up shop Halloween store will have a great assortment. If you’re going really budget, things like prosthetic objects glued to your forehead will be enough to look like you tried while not being totally over the top.
The possibilities are endless! For a huge list of costume ideas, check out this Buzzfeed article.
